The Old City of Jerusalem and its surrounding areas are full of graffiti and worn posters in both Hebrew and Arabic. The very walls speak of the importance of the many different cultures which have left their imprint and the variety of people who walk through the area today.
These collages offer a different entry point into the discussion of how this city can be equitably shared. The snippets of text invite us to ask what happens when we cut off communication channels and do not listen to the full stories to be found in history. Their re-combination offers a suggestion of the possibility of reconciliation and new futures.
